Our R Marine Crawley Brisbane River Experience began with a breathtaking sunrise & calm waters. Departing the Gold Coast with a flotilla of Riviera’s early Friday morning we enjoyed a slow cruise towards our anchorage at Peel Island for a lazy morning in the sun & a quick bite to eat.
Our journey up the Brisbane River allowed us to take in the everchanging sites along the way, we all looked skywards as we passed under the impressive Gateway Bridge & marveled at some of the magnificent houses that adorn the shoreline.
Arriving at Dockside Marina by mid afternoon, we had the chance to mingle with the rest of the fleet & get ourselves ready for our RMC Welcome Dinner. A leisurely stroll along the waterfront lead us to Medley Restaurant, where we enjoyed a delicious 3 course meal, some great laughs, the acoustic sounds of the live entertainment with a stunning view of the Brisbane River & the Story Bridge as our backdrop.
