RMC Whitsundays Experience 2025 – A Coastal Cruising Adventure
This year’s RMC Whitsundays & Circle Whitsundays Experience unfolded as an unforgettable two-stage cruising adventure, carrying a growing fleet of Riviera owners from the Gold Coast to the turquoise wonders of the north. The journey became as much about shared moments as stunning destinations—an experience some wrapped with a homebound voyage, while others simply couldn’t leave the magic behind.

Day 1 – Airlie Beach Gathering > Cape Gloucester, Montes Reef Resort
A perfect Whitsundays morning set the stage as a fleet of Rivieras cruised from Airlie Beach to Cape Gloucester. After a relaxed lunch onboard, everyone gathered at Montes Reef Resort for great food, warm service, and the chance to reconnect or meet new faces. The day wrapped with a quick tender ride back to the boats, where several owners showcased their sleek Aqua Rail lighting—both a safety upgrade and an eye-catching feature. The experience left plenty of curiosity for anyone considering similar enhancements for their own vessel.
Day 2 – Cape Gloucester to Stonehaven
Cruising from Cape Gloucester to Hook Island, we enjoyed crystal waters, welcomed four new vessels, and shared sunset drinks on the beach together.
Day 3 – Lunch at Hayman Island
We enjoyed an exceptional poolside lunch at Bam Bam Restaurant before returning to unwind onboard and watch the AFL Grand Final under the stars.
Day 4 – Macona Inlet Raft-Up
A lively day of watersports in Macona Inlet ended with a memorable fleet dinner aboard Entropy, the impressive Riviera 585 SUV built for entertaining.
Day 5 – Whitehaven Beach & Hill Inlet
Ten Rivieras anchored off Whitehaven Beach for a sun-soaked day of swimming, BBQs, and effortless friendships amid the Whitsundays’ breathtaking beauty.
Day 6 – Refuelling at Shute Harbour & Burning Point
After refuelling at Shute Harbour, the fleet cruised south to Burning Point for an evening BBQ ashore, framed by a stunning Whitsundays sunset.
Day 7 – Percy Island & Keppel Bay
Smooth cruising led to Middle Percy’s historic A-Frame, where mariners leave mementos, before a relaxed evening and dinner at Keppel Bay Marina.
Day 8–9 – Great Keppel Island, The Narrows & Wathumba Creek
From Long Beach to Wathumba Creek, calm seas and golden sunsets offered effortless cruising, peaceful anchorages, and time to unwind along the coast.
Day 10 – Fraser Island & Kingfisher Bay
Anchored off Fraser Island, the fleet enjoyed one last beach BBQ — a night of laughter, toasts, and sunset reflections to close the journey.
Day 11 – Farewell at Kingfisher Bay Resort
Whitsundays Experience concluded at Kingfisher Bay Resort with laughter, stories, and the electric excitement of NRL Grand Final night, creating the perfect farewell before our dawn departure back to the Gold Coast.
